Pediatric Supratentorial Ganglioneuroblastoma: Case Report and Review of Literature.

•Pediatric cerebral ganglioneuroblastoma is a rare entity, first described in 1968.•Six cases have been reported in the pediatric literature, only 2 of which are from the post-MRI or modern era.•The majority of ganglioneuroblastomas occur in extracranial sites, where these tumors usually behave in an indolent fashion.•CNS ganglioneuroblastomas are WHO grade IV embryonal tumors, depicting aggressive behavior.•Rapid progression is uncommon, but changes in central auto regulatory mechanisms can result in sudden increased ICP.•Early use of cerebrospinal fluid drainage may be helpful, even in the absence of overt hydrocephalus on neuroimaging.
