Abstract
We thank Allas and Abribat for their interest in our paper(1) . We expected that glucose intake would neither influence the AG and UAG levels nor the AG/UAG ratio in PWS and that these levels would remain high, as high AG levels are a hallmark of patients with PWS. In contrast to our expectations, we found that the ghrelin system in PWS responded normally with a sharp decline of AG and a decline in UAG levels after glucose intake. First, the authors of the rebuttal mention 2 previously performed studies(2,3) showing that total ghrelin This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
