摘要
Glomus tumor is an extremely rare, often benign mesenchymal neoplasm composed of glomus bodies, vasculature, and smooth muscle cells. It is usually derived from the distal extremities of the skin, which is rich in glomus bodies. It rarely occurs in the visceral organs where glomus bodies are uncommon or absent. Because of the lack of consensus on the treatment for malignant glomus tumor, we describe herein a case of malignant glomus tumor of the kidney and provide a review of the literature.
