Abstract
•A fast CZE method was developed and validated for analysis of six phenolic acids.•Quantitation was performed in soluble and bound fractions of wheat varieties.•Phenolic acids profiles of modern and old varieties of wheat were determined.•Old genotypes were found to contain significantly higher amounts of phenolic acid.•PCA data treatment allowed differentiation between modern and old genotypes.
