Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the security of wireless communication with friendly jamming in heterogeneous Device-to-Device (D2D) and cellular networks with eavesdropper. Not alike traditional physical layer security strategies which optimize secrecy capacity, we propose strategies aimed at reduction of compromised secrecy region (CSR). Firstly, the outage probability with multiple jammers is derived, then we obtain the secrecy region with the outage probability given. Secondly, two strategies for friendly jamming are proposed to reduce CSR, including one non-coordinated jamming strategy and one coordinated jamming strategy. Finally, numerical results are given to validate the proposed CSR reduction strategies for friendly jamming. The results show that our schemes could reduce CSR efficiently. More especially, the coordinated jamming strategy shows better performance than non-coordinated jamming strategies.
