Dynamics-based analytical solutions to singular integrals for elastodynamics by time domain boundary element method

•Analytical solutions both in time and space to singular integrals are proposed.•The singular integrals are solved from the viewpoint of dynamics.•Hadamard principle integral is used to eliminate the singularities.•1-D rod and 2-D examples are conducted to verify the analytical treatment.
