Sleep quality and daytime sleepiness in patients treated with adjunctive perampanel for focal seizures

•Seventy-two patients with refractory focal seizures were studied.•Adjunctive perampanel improved overall seizure frequency from baseline.•Daytime sleepiness did not worsen with addition of perampanel.•Overall subjective sleep quality improved significantly at 3months vs baseline.•Perampanel could be considered for patients with epilepsy with sleep problems.
