Two-component waterborne polyurethane modified with terpene derivative-based polysiloxane for coatings via a thiol-ene click reaction

•Terpene derivative-based polysiloxane was prepared by thiol-ene click reaction.•The prepared polysiloxane was as polyol to synthesize waterborne polyurethane.•The polyurethane film changed from hydrophilic to hydrophobic after modification.•The stress of modified film was increased by one time compared to unmodified.
