Adjuvant Peptide Pulsed Dendritic Cell Vaccination in Addition to T Cell Adoptive Immunotherapy for Cytomegalovirus Infection in Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Recipients

•Adjuvant cytomegalovirus (CMV) peptide dendritic cell (DC) vaccination in addition to donor-derived CMV peptide-specific T cell infusion appears to be feasible.•No immediate adverse reactions were noted on DC vaccination or T cell infusion.•One of 4 patients developed grade III acute graft-versus-host disease after DC vaccination and T cell infusion.•All patients who received DC vaccination and CMV-specific T cell infusion demonstrated immune reconstitution against CMV.
