Question Interpretation in QA@(LF)-F-2

The Question interpretation module of QA@(LF)-F-2, the question-answering system from (LF)-F-2/INESC-ID, is thoroughly described in this paper, as well as the frame formalism(1) it employs. Moreover, the anaphora resolution process introduced this year, based on frames manipulation, is detailed. The overall results QA@(LF)-F-2 achieved at the CLEF competition and a brief overview on the system's evolution throughout the 2 years of joint evaluation are presented. The results of an evaluation to the QI module alone are also detailed here.
