An Integrated System to Support the Aids Research.

The intelligent management of clinical data base together with an appropriate use of the knowledge on pathologies and their evolution can give the physicians a valid support in defining tempestively both early diagnosis and correlations between objective parameters (clinical symptoms, diagnostic tests, etc.) and clinical course. This is true expecially for those topics whose knowledge is poor, and where information and knowledge can be generated from data properly recorded and analyzed. This may be the case of the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), for which an effective therapy does not yet exist (1).
