Abstract
This paper presents the results of the application of the Experiential Learning Survey (ELS) in a setting where students utilized a simulation-based agile project management training exercise as a key component of their learning activities. Students reported that the use of an agile project management training simulation enhanced their learning experience and indicated high levels on each of the four ELS subscales of authenticity, active learning, relevance, and utility. ELS should also prove useful to simulation designers and instructors as it provides a valuable mechanism by which feedback may be obtained to evaluate simulation effectiveness and improve simulation design.
