Abstract
Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system is one of the most promising techniques for beyond fourth generation wireless communication systems. This paper will discuss Massive MIMO for diversified use cases/applications and associated optimization methods. These use cases include Macro deployments, Heterogeneous deployments, TDD/FDD duplex schemes, as well as full buffer traffic type versus small packet bursty traffic type.
