A forensic autopsy case of death from laryngeal stenosis due to a late complication of radiotherapy.

•A fatality from laryngeal stenosis as a late complication of radiation is reported.•The deceased underwent radiotherapy for laryngeal cancer 6months before his death.•Postmortem CT showed severe airway narrowing due to glottic tissue swelling.•Histopathological findings of submucosal edema and extensive granulation were noted.•Detailed history taking and careful examination of the neck organs are necessary.
