Chemical Constituents of Aglaia abbreviata

Chemical investigation of a Chinese indigenous Aglaia species, A. abbreviata , yielded a new 3,4-secodammarane triterpenoid ( 1 ), the known triterpenoids 2 – 9 , the known flavaglines 10 and 11 , and the known amide derivative 12 . Structures were assigned to these compounds on the basis of detailed spectroscopic analyses.
