Abstract
The histological type of gastric cancer is known as an important factor of the disease progression and prognosis. Undifferentiated gastric cancer has more aggressive behavior than differentiated type. However, prognosis of the early gastric cancer (EGC) containing a mixture of differentiated and undifferentiated components is incompletely understood. Moreover, there is no consensus on indication for endoscopic treatment of EGC with mixed components. This study aimed to assess the characteristics and prognosis of mixed adenocarcinoma diagnosed as EGC after endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD).
