611 Laparoscopic-Assisted Colonoscopy With Polypectomy (Lacp) Versus Laparoscopic Hemicolectomy for Endoscopically Unresectable Right-Sided Colon Polyps: Results of a Randomized Controlled Trial

For difficult-to-remove polyps in the right colon, laparoscopic hemicolectomy (LHC) is often employed. Laparoscopic-assisted colonoscopy with polypectomy (LACP) has been utilized in this scenario to manipulate the colon in such position that allows the endoscopist complete polyp resection without removal of the colon. The overall efficacy of LACP appears to be equivalent to LHC, yet with a much shorter hospital length of stay.
