Abstract
Confocal laser endomicroscopy (CLE) system has been performed in accurate detection of gastrointestinal lesions in recent years. But the standardized diagnosis of mucosa atrophy and intestinal metaplasia in stomach has not been explored. The aim of this study was to detect the feature of atrophic and metaplastic gastric mucosa under conventional endoscopy, NBI and Probe-based CLE (pCLE), and analyzed the diagnostic accuracy compared with histology.
