Sa1590 Comparison of Outcomes Between Endoscopic Resection for Single Gastric Neoplasia and Simultaneous Endoscopic Resection for Multiple Lesions
Gastrointestinal Endoscopy(2013)
Abstract
more frequent in the initial differentiated cancer group (22/27, 81.5%) than in the initial undifferentiated cancer group (8/17, 47.1%). In the initial benign group, differentiated RGC was significantly (p 0.035) more frequent in the Billroth II group (10/12, 83.3%) than in the Billrot I group (5/12, 41.7%). Conclusions: Clinicopathological characteristics of RGCs significantly differ according to the initial diagnosis for gastrectomy, reconstruction method and initial histological type of cancer. Precise understandings of these differences may enhance efficacious detection of RGC in endoscopic surveillance after distal gastrectomy.
