Mo1410 Therapeutic EUS Training: Porcine Urinary Bladder As a Useful In Vivo Model for Transmural Fluid Collection Drainage

Fluid collections drainage is a common technique among therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and could be considered as the standard of care for peripancreatic fluid collections. However it is a complex procedure combining technical aspects from both EUS and ERCP and with no negligible risk of complications, so that an appropriate training may be required. Potential role of animal models simulation has not been reported in this setting.
