Tu1571 Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) Using New Device Mucosectom2 for Esophageal Cancers

Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) has recently been developed for en bloc resection of stomach neoplasms, which results in high tumor eradication rates as well as a modality for the precise histological assessment of the entire lesion. We developed and reported a safe and easy technique of the ESD using Mucosectom for gastric cancers. Because the wall of oesophagus is very thin and its lumen is very narrow, en-bloc resection for esophageal tumors by ESD is thought to be a very diffi1cult procedure in gastrointestinal tract. We have developed New-type Mucosectom (Mucosectom2, to carry out ESD safely. We display our ESD technique for early esophageal caners using Mucosectome2.
