Abstract
Most recent clinical practice guidelines recommend no discontinuation of antiplatelet agents (APA) like aspirin (ASA) prior to EUS-FNA of solid masses. On the other hand, if the patient (PT) is taking thienopyridines (TNP), discontinuation of the drug is advised. Evidence supporting this type of practice is limited (ASA) or does not exist (TNP).
