The anaesthesiologists’ role in complex emergencies—An online survey

Purpose: Providing patients with safe, timely, and adequate anaesthesia care during humanitarian crisis and disaster relief operations is challenging. Many of the skills needed are not part of the anaesthesiologist's working routine. Therefore, an exploratory study was conducted aiming at identifying knowledge and skills needed in complex emergency situations.
