摘要

•A colorimetric and fluorescent dual molecular chemosensor was prepared.•The chemosensor can be used as a dual probe for selectively detecting Al3+ and Cu2+.•The limits of detection of Al3+ and Cu2+ were estimated to be 8.3nM and 2.9×10−7M, respectively.
