摘要
Intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) is associated with blood flow redistribution in order to maintain perfusion. Some hemodynamic parameters such as placental/brain vascular resistance, compliance and elasticity cannot be measured clinically. For this, we developed lumped model of the fetal circulation in order to estimate the vascular parameters of each individual. An electrical lumped model of the fetal circulation was developed and personalized using measured clinical data from 7 normal and 7 IUGR fetuses. An optimization algorithm was developed to automatically estimate model parameters:vascular resistances, compliances, diameter and elasticity(normalized by gestational age and fetal weight). The normalized estimated placental and brain resistances were respectively increased and reduced in IUGR fetuses (Fig). There was a trend towards an increased placental compliance, and dilatation of the arteries while maintaining vascular elasticity.
