Abstract
Sagittal spinal malalignment (SSM), commonly defined as increased sagittal vertical axis (SVA), is a known cause of pain and disability. SVA values alone, however, may underestimate the amount of SSM. Recent data has indicated spino-pelvic parameters are a more complete measure of SSM. Little data exists to correlate spino-pelvic parameters with patient disability.
