Background: Portal vein embolization (PVE) enables increasing resectability of primary inoperable liver tumors. However, the problem in some patients is an insufficient growth of the liver parenchyma or tumor progression after PVE. The aim of our study was to evaluate the significance of some clinical factors for the result of PVE.
