摘要
•It is the first time where two paralogues of human Lis1 are described.•We showed that the effect in nuclear migration is secondary to the effect on Mts.•Lack of LIS1-1 strongly affects vegetative growth, conidiation and branching.•LIS1-1 and LIS1-2 have high identity but LIS1-2 lacks of the coiled coil motif.•There is a different regulation of LIS1-1 and LIS1-2.
