PD-0010ASSOCIATION BETWEEN COLORECTAL CANCER STAGE AND TGFBR1 DEPENDS ON KRAS/BRAF AND MGMT STATUS

Background: We have previously reported a higher frequency of TGFBR1 variants amongst CRC patients than controls (ESMO 2012, abstract 615). We have also shown an association between KRAS/BRAF mutant and MGMT methylation status amongst CRC patients, although neither was associated with stage (ASCO 2011, abstract 3608). Thus we were led to consider the possible association between TGFBR1 and stage amongst patients in the context of KRAS/BRAF and MGMT.
