Abstract
•A mathematical model for DSCs using an electrical circuit analogy is proposed.•The model is implementable in electrical engineering circuit simulation software.•The model can be then used for electronic power converter design.•Model based on 1-dimensional spatial discretization using finite difference methods.•Very good agreement between modeling and experimental results.
