Dynamical measurements on viscoelastic behaviors of spiders in electro-dynamic loudspeakers

•A noncontact dynamic experimental technology was developed for the quantification of the creep effect as well as the level dependent viscoelastic properties of spiders.•Young’s moduli of the tested spider composite materials were calculated by the mode analysis.•The frequency dependent stiffness and loss factor of tested spiders were identified from the measured data.•The creep effect and level dependent behaviors of spiders were investigated.
