Transmission of Chrysanthemum Stutnt Viroid in Chrysanthemum by Contaminated Cutting Tool
Horticulture Environment and Biotechnology(2009)
摘要
Transmission efficiency of Chrysanthemum stunt viroid (CSVd) by cutting tool in chrysanthemum was examined. Probability of infection with CSVd by cutting healthy chrysanthemum stems with CSVd-contaminated razor blade ranged from 58.8 to 29.4% depending on the number of times of reuse of single event contaminated razor blades in a chrysanthemum cutting test. CSVd was detected from the upper leaves of chrysanthemum by RT-PCR at 4 weeks after transmission by cutting its stems with CSVd-contaminated razor blade. This is the first report on the tool transmission trial of CSVd in chrysanthemum.
