Abstract
•Extraction of squalene from wine lees was performed at 40°C and pressures 12–30MPa.•By SCCO2 extraction is obtained the 1.2wt% of extract and 1.69wt% of squalene in extract.•Squalene content in extract is 82.8% of the value achieved by ultrasound extraction.
