Seizure precipitants in Dravet syndrome: What events and activities are specifically provocative compared with other epilepsies?

•Our survey shows multiple seizure precipitants in nearly all patients with Dravet syndrome.•The most common seizure precipitants are having a fever, having a cold, taking a bath, and having acute moments of stress.•Physical exercise is a common seizure precipitant as well and may act by hyperthermia.•Knowledge of these precipitants may lead to strategies to prevent seizures in Dravet syndrome.
