摘要
•Increased survival lung transplant recipients, the need for immunosuppressive therapy and many risk factors pre and post-transplant enhances the development of malignancies.•The most frequent neoplasia diagnosed among solid organ transplanted patients are cutaneous nonmelanoma and lymphoproliferative disorders.•Factors that predispose to posttransplant malignancy remain unclear but could include a history of malignancy pretransplantation, smoking history, age at transplantation, sun exposure and pretransplant pulmonary diagnosis.
