摘要

•A Study of the Genotoxic Impact in Military Units (SIGNUM) was carried out.•No exposure to DU was measured during the mission in Italian military personnel.•No increase in DNA adducts was observed after the deployment.•No toxicologically relevant increase of genotoxicity biomarkers was detected.
