Experimental evaluation of the emission time for prompt fission neutrons

The dependence of the two-neutron correlation function on the relative momentum is measured for the spontaneous fission of Cf-252. Under the condition that the neutron-emission time is greater than 10(-20) s, this dependence complies with the results of calculations that take into account final-state nuclear interaction of identical particles.
