Abstract
of FS for CRC were 65.2% and 87.3%, respectively. The sensitivity and specificity of FS for any ACL were 62.0% and 88.7%, respectively.Combining FIT with FS would detect an additional 3 CRC (13.0%) and 30 AN (10.0%).FS+FIT would improve the sensitivity for CRC to 78.3%, the specificity for CRC to 93.2%, the sensitivity for any ACL to 72.5%, and the specificity for any ACL to 93.5%.When compared with FS, the odds ratio (OR) for FS+FIT for CRC detection was 1.92, while the OR for FS+FIT to detect any ACL was 1.17.Conclusions: In this large cohort of asymptomatic Chinese subjects undergoing CRC screening, the combination of FS and FIT improves the detection of CRC and AN.FS + FIT appears to be a reasonable option to increase the uptake of CRC screening when colonoscopy is not universally available due to resource limitation.Table 1.Results of FIT in relationship to endoscopic findings.{BR}Table2. Sensitivity and specificity for FIT, FS, and FS + FIT for screening of colorectal cancer or any advanced colonic lesions.
