摘要
of both flu (1.06% vs. 0.41%, RR: 2.6, 95%CI 1.08, 6.34) and pneumonia (5.7% vs. 4.1%, RR 1.39, 95% CI 1.02, 1.89) was significantly higher among IS users than non-users.There was no significant difference in the rate of infections based on the vaccination status but the number of flu and pneumonia cases was very small. Conclusions: Although routine immunization rates among IBD patients have risen in the last few years, these preventative measures are still substantially underutilized.Although IS users are more likely to contract both flu and pneumonia, the incidence of documented infections in this population is very low and therefore the effectiveness of vaccinations is difficult to estimate.
