Paper # 133: Predictors of Radiographic Knee Osteoarthritis After Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction

This study was performed to determine the prevalence and risks factors for radiographic knee OA after single-bundle ACL reconstruction. The results indicated that 39% of the individuals had knee OA an average of 7.8 years after surgery. The strongest predictors of knee OA were medial meniscectomy, grade 2 or greater medial chondrosis, length of follow-up and BMI.
