Rerupture is one of the most common complications seen after tendon repair. Apoptosis seen in the repair zone especially in the late stage of repair is believed to have an impact on reruptures. In this study; the effect of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) application on tendon rerupture at late stage of healing (fourth week), after tendon repair, was studied.
