Abstract
Objectives: Endovascular treatment of the proximal descending aorta can be associated with serious complications, such as retrograde type A aortic dissection and type I endoleak formation. The frozen elephant trunk technique represents a valid bailout strategy to manage this complication after thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR).
