Survival Following Synchronous Colorectal Cancer Resection

Synchronous colorectal cancers are defined as two or more primary carcinomas detected simultaneously in the same individual at the time of first diagnosis of colorectal cancer. This occurs infrequently, accounting for less than 5% of all colorectal cancer diagnoses.
