Electrostatic induction power generator using hydroxyapatite ceramic electrets

•The rotational electret power generator adopts electrostatic induction.•The power generation performance is examined theoretically and experimentally.•The power generator is based on the properties of hydroxyapatite ceramic electrets.•Two surfaces of the hydroxyapatite electrets have opposing polarities.•The maximum output power generated by our prototype electret generator is 3.6μW.
