CREDIT (Cardiovascular Risk Evaluation in People with Type 2 Diabetes on Insulin Therapy) was designed to examine relationships between A1C and cardiovascular (CV) events in 2999 patients beginning insulin in real-world practice in Europe, North America (252 patients from Canada), and Asia, with up to 54 months follow up.
