Prevalence and Characterization of Hospitalized Patients with Previously Undiagnosed Dysglycemia
Canadian Journal of Diabetes(2012)
Abstract
Dysglycemia is an important health problem that often goes undiagnosed. Hospitalization affords an opportune time to identify people at risk of dysglycemia and attach them to prevention programs. The objective of the study was to determine the prevalence of dysglycemia in hospitalized patients, and to compare patient characteristics of those with dysglycemia versus those without.
