摘要

•Vagus nerve stimulation is the most widely used neuromodulation treatment.•It is safe and effective in adult/children and for partial and generalized seizures.•We have included off-label indications (right-sided VNS, pregnancy, young children).•Surgery on an out-patient basis optimizes patient care and reduces costs.
