Abstract
A variety of compounds were screened for corrosion inhibitor of cobalt in water–soluble cutting fluids. We have found that benzotriazole, 2–mercaptobenzothiazole and 2–mercaptothiazoline showed effective corrosion inhibiting property for cobalt in water–soluble cutting fluids.
