ChemInform Abstract: Bioinspired Total Synthesis of (.+‐.)‐Yezo′otogirin C (I).

The total synthesis of the title compound is achieved from 3‐methyl‐4‐prenylcyclohex‐2‐one in eight steps with 23% overall yield without the need of protecting groups, for the first time.
