Analysis on the Pelvic Lesions and Fertility Outcome of 294 Cases Infertile Women Treated by Laparoscopy

Abstract
To evaluate the value of laparoscopic surgery in diagnosis and treatment of women with infertility. Retrospective study. Follow-up 12∼24 months after surgery. Teaching Hospital. Analyzed the related factors of infertility and fertility outcome after laparoscopic treatment for 424 infertile women who admitted from June 2006 to June 2009 in Fuxing Hospital. Abnormal fallopian tube and/or pelvic adhesion was the first cause (53.06%, 156/294) of infertility, Endometriosis is the second one (16.66%, 49/294). There were 130 cases (30.66%) lost follow up. Twenty hundred and ninety four cases (69.34%) were in touch. Total pregnancy rate after laparoscopic surgery was 41.38% (123/294). Among them the pregnancy rate of abnormal fallopian tube and pelvic adhesion was 36.53% (57/156), of endometriosis was 48.97% (24/49). of PCOS was 58.65% (17/29), of myoma was 56.52% (13/23). After surgery one of 10 cases suffered from peritoneum tuberculosis and normal uterine cavity with pathological normal endometrium got pregnancy by artificial insemination, one of ten benign ovarian cyst got pregnancy after surgery. of unexplained infertility the pregnant rate was 50% (10/20) after bilateral tubal hydrotubation. The mean pregnant time after treatment was 10.44m. Laparoscopy can determine the pelvic causes of infertility directly and accurately as well as corresponding treatment is possible. Laparoscopic pelvic surgery on female infertility diagnosis and treatment of diseases is of great value.
